  • What areas do you provide services?
    In order to perform the most amazing and personalized service for you and your pet, our service area is strictly limited to the City of Doral, Florida. We have the mission to bring the best pet care service in Doral and become your pet's best friend, their bestie, a true BFF! We hope in the future to expand our Mission to other locations and share our love for pups and kitties all over Miami-Dade County.
  • What are your business hours and administration hours?
    Administration Hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Saturday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Sunday: closed Business Hours: We offer pet sitting services Monday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Any service on any day of the week that is before 8:00 am and after 7:00 pm is considered “after hours” and subject a +$5 up-charge. Regularly scheduled dog walking service is available Monday through Friday. We provide services 7 days a week, 365 days a year, unless we stated otherwise in advanced.
  • What is the best way to communicate with you?
    Once you are part of our family, we ask that all communication be handled via real-time texting through the Walkies App messaging portal. If you have other inquiries or concerns, you can always access these four ways of communication.   • Do you work holidays, weekends, and evenings?
    Yes, we do! Pawpet Pet Care is available 24/7 for our services and specially during the Holidays. Just remember to reserve your booking ahead of time during these times of the year. It gets really busy.

  • Do I have to give you a copy of my home key?
    Regular keys We will require 2 (two) set of your home keys: - One set of keys are kept on-site via lockbox or other secure means of store. If you do not own a lockbox, do not worry, we can provide you with one at the Meet & Greet for $20. - We will hold another set of spare keys. During service, these keys will be always with the professional pet sitter in case anything happens. Sometimes lockboxes freeze, clients forget to put keys inside, forget the lockbox entirely, passcodes are changed and clients are unreachable. Believe us, we have seen it all! When services provided are finished, the keys will be store securely at our Safe Box in our Home Office. Extra tip: For an extra security measure, as a recommendation, is always a good thing leave a copy of your home key to your emergency contact, a neighbor, a friend, or anyone you trust enough with this kind of responsibility. When you share with us their contact, we will have your home’s emergency spare key contact on file. Thanks to these measures we were always successfully able to continue service because we have had the backup keys on hand. It’s the most responsible thing you can do for your pets. Keyless keypad We will require 1 (one) set of your home keys: - During service, one set of keys will be always with the professional pet sitter in case anything happens. Sometimes keypads run out of battery, passwords expired and clients are unreachable or passcodes are changed. Believe us, we have seen it all! When services provided are finished, the keys will be store securely at our Safe Box in our Home Office. Extra tip: For an extra security measure, as a recommendation, is always a good thing leave a copy of your home key to your emergency contact, a neighbor, a friend, or anyone you trust enough with this kind of responsibility. When you share with us their contact, we will have your home’s emergency spare key contact on file. Thanks to these measures we were always successfully able to continue service because we have had the backup keys on hand. It’s the most responsible thing you can do for your pets. Apartment Buildings Key Fobs We will require 1 (one) copy of your key fob to enter your apartment building: - We cannot require holding a copy on site of your key fob due to restrictions of some apartment buildings. The professional pet sitter will adjust your apartment building regulations to have access to your apartment. Regularly, if the key fob is given to us, the professional pet sitter will always carry it during services and return it when services are finished. Please, check in advance with your apartment building concierge or front desk about the requirements for visitor entering your apartment when you are not home.
  • Do you provide services in apartment buildings?
    Yes! We will require 1 (one) copy of your key fob to enter your apartment building. If you are unable to provide us with a copy of your building fob, your visit will start when we walk into the lobby to account for any time it takes obtaining a key from your concierge. This process typically takes only a few minutes. If you need walks after hours when your apartment's concierge/front desk is closed, it will be your responsibility to initiate the access plans. Please notify your concierge that your Professional pet sitter will be entering your apartment, as most buildings do require written permission. Also, some apartment buildings require to pay for parking spaces and/or valet parking. In these cases, you will be responsible for any parking expenses incurred while services are being provided. One way we have found a solution is to provide us with your parking space, that usually works, especially for long-term care like overnight care.
  • Will I receive updates on my pets?
    Yes of course, this is the fun part! We will keep you up to date every step of the way. After every visit you will receive a very detailed report straight to your account with pictures, videos, and GPS mapping (for walks). You will get the sensation like you were there. Is that specific and sometimes very funny! You’ll get answers like: Did she eat? Did he poop and pee? Did she have a treat? Did he mischief? Did he chase the ducks? Did she scratch the chair? Did they have water? Did you give them their medicine? And so much more…
  • Do you have any discount for new clients?
    Yes, we do! We want you to be part of our family, so as a welcome bonus* you’ll have: $10 off for dog walks or drop-in service; or $20 off for overnight care service Depending as what you choose as your first service. *first time clients only. You can only choose one discount.
  • I’m interested in your services, what’s the next step?
    Yay, we are super excited that you are ready to be part of the family and the next step for you is, actually three steps: 1. Get in touch with us by filling out a form with your request and information about your pets. 2. We will get back to you to schedule a Meet and Greet, to get to know you, your pets, their needs, their schedule - everything that you think is good for us to know and to let us know what makes them special. 3. After both parties agree start working together, you can start booking, enjoying your pet’s new friend and your newfound peace of mind.
  • Do you have a referral program?
    Yes, we do! We offer one free 30-minute visit for each person you refer who successfully completes a service with us. Yippee!!!
  • What happens if I move and still want to use your services?
    Within City of Doral If you are moving within the City of Doral, you don’t need to worry about it. We must take care of a few things before start booking with us again: 1. Notify us through Walkies messaging portal about your moving at least 2 weeks’ notice and update your new address. 2. You will need to schedule a mandatory Meet & Greet (billed as a 30-min walk). That way we can property update new access information, location of pets’ items, walking routes for dogs, and anything else regarding your pets’ safety. Outside City of Doral If you are moving outside the City of Doral, we will evaluate your case depending how far away from the city you are going to move. We will be looking forward for the best possible outcome. For now, we are only limited to serve the City of Doral.
